NSC Fisheries PartnershipThe NSC Fisheries Partnership promotes integrated and sustainable management of shared fish stocks in the North Sea through the co-operation of fishers, scientists, managers and other stakeholders. The Partnership consists of national fisheries research organisations from countries around the North Sea, representative fishers’ associations, and the North Sea Commission, supported by specialist advisers. The Partnership is coordinated by Aberdeenshire Council, Scotland. North Sea Strategy
The timetable for North Sea Strategy activities in 2010 are as follows;
- 17 - 18 March; Stakeholder Conference in Newcastle supported by UK Government and NSC.
- 13 April; "Europe's macro-region: Integration through territorial co-operation". Hosted by the CoR in Brussels. Information and registration here.
- 20 May; "Working together to Manage the Resources of the North Sea and Channel, Workshop in Oviedo during Maritime Day.
- 16 - 17 June; Joint NSC and Interreg seminar in Stavanger
