RENEWABLE ENERGY SUBGROUP ANNUAL MEETING

ABERDEEN  26th MAY 2006

 

 

This meeting is arranged to coincide with the 2006 All-Energy Exhibition and Conference being held in Aberdeen 24th  and 25th May.  The exhibition and conference will be free of charge.  This is a major UK conference and is supported by a number of national energy organisations.  It has also attracted input from many manufacturers, suppliers and contractors involved in this sector. It certainly is worth while visiting this event on 24th – 25th May.

Opening hours Wednesday:       08.30 a.m.  -  6.00 p.m.

Opening hours Thursday:           08.30 a.m.  -  5.30 p.m.                 Admission is free.

 

Note that Wednesday 24th May there is a networking evening arranged by All-energy. Registration and exhibition/conference details at  www.all-energy.co.uk.

 

 

 

Our group meeting takes place Friday 26th May at the Balgownie 1 Pavilion, which is part of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.  The Pavilion houses the offices of Aberdeen City Council's Economic Development Service and is located beside the high observation tower which dominates the site.

TRAVEL:

By Air  -  Aberdeen International Airport has flight connections with most parts of the UK and many of the northern Europe's major cities.  The Hotel is approximately 30 minutes by taxi from Aberdeen International Airport (cost approximately £17).  There is also a good bus connection between the airport and the town centre.

 

By Rail  - Aberdeen has direct rail services from London Kings Cross, Edinburgh, Glasgow and other parts of Britain. The Hotel is a short taxi journey from the station.  For more information about train times and prices please check the Scotrail website:   www.firstscotrail.com 

 

By Road  -  Aberdeen has modern road links with the south.  From the south, take the motorway as far as Perth to link with the A90 to Aberdeen.
