North Sea Commission, Culture & Tourism Group, 34th Meeting, Bergen 28-29 March 2008

We cordially invite you to join the 34th meeting of the Culture & Tourism Group of the North Sea Commission. The meeting will take place in Bergen, Norway 28-29 March 2008.

Rooms have been reserved at Grand Hotel Terminus in the centre of Bergen. The meeting will take place at the County Council building close by.

The business meeting will take place Friday 28th March between 09.00-13.00, so you are advised to arrive on the 27th.

After lunch on Friday, there will be a study tour ending up with an official dinner at an island west of Bergen. Return to Bergen after dinner.

On Saturday 29th March, there will be a workshop for project development. Over the years, the Culture & Tourism group has initiated and/or helped develop a number of highly successful Interreg project ideas.

The official meeting will end with lunch Satuday, but if interest exists, study visits will be organised Saturday afternoon.

The agenda will include a number of interesting issues, including updates on sustainable tourism, culture strategy and latest project news. A revision of the action plan and out strategic goals will also be discussed.
