NEW PRESIDENT ELECTED

As of the 18th of June 2004, at the 13th Annual General Assembly in Göteborg Sweden the North Sea Commission elected Gunn Marit Helgesen of Telemark Fylkeskommune Norway as the President of the North Sea Commission replacing the current President Bent Hansen of Viborg Amt Denmark after 9 years of service.
