Saturday excursion; a boat trip on the fjord.
The trip starts at 10.00 from Brunstad and returns to Brunstad after 3-3,5 hours. The trip will a tour along the coast of Vestfold. There will be served a light lunch on the trip.
The theme of this year’s conference will be: “Transnational Cooperation across the North Sea – Creating a Sustainable and Competitive Region for the Future”, focussing on the challenges posed by the Lisbon and Gothenburg Agendas for the North Sea Region. The Annual Conference 2007 will also mark the formal launch of the new Interreg IVB North Sea Region Programme, which will run from 2007 to 2013.
Programme
The plenary session will feature representatives from the Commission, the private sector and politicians, focusing on the new themes of the Interreg IVB Programme such as innovation, energy and sustainable and competitive communities. On the second day, there will be seminars and workshops on the new programme and its priorities. For politicians there will be a political seminar discussing the future political priorities for the North Sea Region. In the afternoon, a partner search forum will facilitate networking between potential project partners in preparation for the first call for applications under the Interreg IVB programme. There will also be an exhibition of successful Interreg IIIB projects and drop-in seminars about project management issues.
For NSC mambers there will be a possibility for national meetings in the afternoon.
On the Friday, the NSC will organise the Annual Business Meeting and a meeting of the Executive Committee
Venue
The host regions for this year’s event are Buskerud, Telemark and Vestfold in Norway. The venue is Brunstad Conference Center in Stokke, Southern Norway, which is easily accessible from several airports in Europe, via Sandefjord Torp Airport. There will be organised transport from Sandefjord Airport Torp to the meeting venue on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.

If you wish to attend the Annual Conference, please register online with the Brunstad Conference Centre using the link below. Please note that the Brunstad Conference Centre charges NOK 50 per registration, which will be added to your hotel invoice. The deadline for registration is Wednesday 30 May 2007.

Shuttle buses will be set up between Brunstad ,Torp Airport and Stokke train-station
