Your invitation to The North Sea Commission International Conference "The North Sea - Today and Tomorrow", from 1 to 3 March 2005.

The management of the coastal areas has received considerable attention during the last decade from the EU, the UNCED and the OECD, but also at national and regional levels. Many interests are at stake in the coastal zone in the North Sea region because a large part of the population is resident in the coastal areas. Activities involving the coastal waters and the interface between land and sea include agriculture, fishing, aquaculture, sea transport, harbour activities and recreation facilities.

The Conference is organised by the North Sea Commission and Ringkjøbing County Council. The conference take place in Ringkøbing, Denmark
