Description

The conference will take place at the Buchan Braes Hotel in Boddam, near Peterhead. The village of Boddam has a population of around 1,500 people and is located just 30 miles (c. 48 kilometres) north of the City of Aberdeen. Boddam is an ideal venue for a maritime-themed conference thanks to its maritime heritage and dramatic coastline. The venue itself used to be part of the RAF Buchan military base, which closed in 2005. Representing a new chapter in the history of Boddam, the Buchan Braes brings a four-star hotel and elegant conference venue to the area.
